THESE TWO CLASSES ROTATE WEEK BY WEEK. Step & Tone is an interval class based on Step Aerobic Moves, infused with intervals of lower and upper body muscle conditioning exercises. HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. TABATA is 4 minute exercise sequences. Each sequence is broken into 8 20/10 intervals (20 seconds of intense work followed by 10 seconds of rest). Many exercises will us just body weight, but additional tools such as barbells, bands.
